Taken for a ride by Venkatadri Sharma

we invested for a site through Vishwa bharti housing society in Girinagar Bangalore. In 2005 , we invested 5 lakhs through K.S.Venkatadri Sharma , who promised us a site 30X40 in Girinagar. He provided bills only for 4 lakhs. I don't know how we did not doubt him !!!! In 2008, Venkatadri Sharma said Krishna Bhat who runs the society has requested for another 7 lakhs (total 12 lakhs) for the site. By which time the fraud of this society was out in the news papers in Bangalore. I decided to with draw. The con that Venkatadri Sharma was stopped me from approaching the society , a year later I approached the society , which returned 4 lakhs. My 1 lakh is still with Venkatadri Sharma who refuses to even speak to us. Why did he run away with my 1 lakh ?
We trusted Venakatadri Sharma , who claimed was a very honest officer, is also recipient of Karnataka Kalashree from the Government of Karnataka . His son , RaviShankar Sharma is also a renowned musician. His elder son , Sharma was principal of PESIT.
What a shame it is that such a person is also recognized by the Government!!
Pls share if you have had similar experience with this person

  1. I would reserve my comments on this. I have lost precisely 10.43 lakhs! Any help. I have a letter that Krishna bhat has signed, where he has acknowledged the receipt of cash from Sharma. Now Krishna Bhat is incommunicado! :-(

  2. i had even filed a case with consumer court . If many people respond to my blog with similar experiences , then, we could file a case against Sharma with circumstantial evidence!!

  3. Thanks,
Sure. Do you know of other people affected in Girinagar? I am not even able to get a formal receipt. I have Krishna Bhat's signature for the acknowledgement of amount, but he says he is out of the Layout management team!!

Is there anybody else? whom I can approach for this purpose.
